We are a small hobby kennel located in Marysville, Washington. Our love for the Labrador began in the mid 1980s when we purchased a black Labrador from a local breeder.  She was an exceptional bitch that Mark hunted with, and was a dog that could do almost anything he asked of her at six months of age.

We learned of the Puget Sound Labrador Retriever Association in the Seattle area and purchased a black bitch from one of it's members. As she matured, we researched stud dogs producing proper coats, structure, soundness and temperament and bred "Raven" to AM CAN CH Cedarwood Flt of the Phoenix producing many outstanding puppies including "Hawk", owned by Greg and Sandra Meinhold, who is one point from his American championship, a Canadian Champion and has his Junior, Senior and Master Hunter titles.

We then purchased a stunning yellow bitch, "Zoey", from Cedarwood's breeding as well as the gorgeous chocolate "Taz". We have been very successful showing these dogs to championships and training for field titles.

Because the Labrador is an excellent family companion, has an incredible demand as a gun dog and the joy that the dogs bring our entire family, Brush & Marsh Labradors was founded. The past few years, we have especially loved learning about proper structure, coat and movement, helping us to better evaluate our breeding dogs and also assist in evaluating our litters. We have found that all our dogs bring us joy every day and keep us laughing.

Our goal as breeders is to produce Labradors that have great movement, structure, temperament, soundness and health. We LOVE the Labrador!
